Abstract

This is a case presentation of a full-term newborn female who vomited her feedings and had a chest x-ray demonstrating opacification of the right hemithorax, coiling of the nasogastric tube in the proximal oesophagus, and air in the gastrointestinal tract. The infant underwent three procedures which included: 1. gastrostomy: 2. a left thoracotomy with division of a double tracheo-oesophageal atresia: 3. division of an oesophagobroncho fistula and right pneumonectomy.

Zusammenfassung

Es handelt sich um ein reifes weibliches Neugeborenes, das die Nahrung erbrach. Auf dem Röntgenbild zeigte es eine Verdichtung des rechten Hemithorax, eine Aufrollung der nasogastrischen Sonde im proximalen Ösophagus und Luft im Magendarmkanal. Es wurden 3 Operationen durchgeführt: 1. Gastrostomie, 2. eine linksseitige Thorakotomie mit Durchtrennung von 2 tracheo-ösophagealen Fisteln und Anastomose der Ösophagussegmente, 3. Durchtrennung einer ösophagobronchialen Fistel und rechtsseitige Pneumonektomie.
