Abstract

A 10-year old boy with mucopolysaccharidosis (Type III A of Sanfilipe) is reported. As a result of gastric dilatation associated with the basic illness an acute gastric outlet obstruction developed. A gastro-duodenostomy was performed. The histology of the liver in mucopolysaccharidosis III and the differential diagnosis of gastric obstruction is discussed in detail. Eck

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über einen 10jährigen Jungen mit Mucopolysaccharidose Typ III A Sanfilippo berichtet. Im Rahmen einer durch die Grundkrankheit bedingten Magenatonie ist es zu einer akuten Magenausgangsstenose gekommen. Die Therapie bestand in einer Gastroduodenostomie nach Finney. Es wird auf die Leber-Histologie bei Mucopolysaccharidose III und die Differentialdiagnose der Magenausgangsstenose bei Magenektasie detailliert eingegangen.
