Abstract
An 1-day-old female newborn who had typical clinical features of Aicardi syndrome, such as agenesis of the corpus callosum, ocular abnormalities and infantile spasm associated with a palatal hemangioma is reported. The intraoral mass, which occluded incompletely the oropharynx and right side of the nasopharynx, was partially excised under general anesthesia. Zusammenfassung
Es wird der Fall eines einen Tag alten neugeborenen Mädchens mit allen klinischen Zeichen eines Aicardi-Syndromes vorgestellt. Typisch für dieses Syndrom ist eine Agenesie des Corpus callosum, Fehlbildungen der Augen und eine Spastik, die mit einem Hämangiom des Gaumens verbunden ist. Im vorliegenden Falle verschloß der intraorale Tumor den Oropharynx vollständig und die linke Seite des Nasopharynx. Es wurde eine Teilexzision unter Allgemeinanästhesie durchgeführt. Dies ist der erste Patient, bei dem ein Aicardi-Syndrom mit einem Hämangiom des Gaumens assoziiert war
