Abstract
The demand for complementary cancer care (CCC) is increasing. Cancer is a systemic
process and involves psychological factors. A study published in the Lancet purporting to show that CCC had a negative effect has been discredited. The role
of CCC and the modalities employed, including homœopathy, acupuncture, Iscador, relaxation,
diet and massage, are discussed.
