A case of very severe hypertension is described that had resisted intensive conventional treatment in a department of nephrology for over 2 years, and which has been satisfactorily treated, with dramatic improvement in health, for the subsequent 3 years with tincture of Spartium scoparium (broom) and homœopathic medicines only.
