ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Durch die klinische Nutzung hochsensitiver Troponinbestimmungen werden erhöhte Troponinwerte auch bei Patienten ohne akuten Myokardinfarkt gemessen. Die aktuelle überarbeitete Definition des Myokardinfarktes definiert neben dem Typ 1- und Typ 2-Infarkt mit nachgewiesener Myokardischämie für diese Patienten den Begriff „Myokardschädigung“ ohne Myokardischämie.
