Menschliche Fehler sind unvermeidbar. Schwere Fehler in der Geburtshilfe zu vermeiden, da diese meist weit reichende Konsequenzen nach sich ziehen, ist jedoch zentrales Anliegen für eine optimale Betreuung von Mutter und Kind. Simulationsbasiertes Lernen ist eine der effektivsten Methoden, um Katastrophen während der Geburt zu vermeiden. Doch wie lässt sich angesichts zunehmender Arbeitsverdichtung und knapper Personalplanung der Zusatzaufwand zeitlich einplanen? Der Beitrag stellt die praktische Umsetzung einer Simulation im klinischen Alltag dar.
