Rheumatoide Arthritis und Unfallbegutachtung

ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Dank verbesserter Diagnostik und medikamentöser Therapie sind mehr Rheumapatienten berufstätig und dadurch auch in größerem Ausmaß von Berufs- und Wegeunfällen betroffen als noch vor einigen Jahren. Zur Abklärung der durch den Unfall verursachten Schädigung muss eine gutachterliche Prüfung auf Kausalität erfolgen. Durch eine inflammatorische Grunderkrankung hervorgerufene Veränderungen müssen als Mitursache einzeln geprüft und abgewogen werden. Das Wissen um die Beeinflussung systemischer Regelkreise und deren Auswirkungen auf ein mögliches Trauma sind für mit Gutachten Betraute eminent.

ABSTRACT

Due to improved diagnostics and medical treatment rheumatic patients are more capable to work than before. This leads to the fact, that those patients may suffer from occupational or work-related travel accidents to a greater extent than several years ago. For the usually carried out causality check, the inflammatory disease and its sequelae have to be taken into account. The knowledge about influencing systemic control circuits and their effects on a possible trauma are eminent to evaluate the role of rheumatoid arthritis in occupational or work-related travel accidents.
