Die Zukunft der Nuklearkardiologie
The future of nuclear cardiologyZusammenfassung
Quo vadis, Nuklearkardiologie?
Abstract
Nuclear cardiology is changing. The times in which nuclear cardiologists, like pure service providers, performed and reported myocardial perfusion scintigraphy have changed towards a broader spectrum. New, promising fields of application are opening up that require close cooperation with clinical partners. These fields include in particular infectious and inflammatory diseases as well as cardiac amyloidosis. Artificial intelligence is also on the advance. Will the nuclear physician still be needed? Quo vadis, nuclear cardiology?
