Histological Changes in Tendon Elongation with Bovine Pericardium

Introduction

Tutopatch (RTI Surgical, Inc.) is a collagenous membrane derived from bovine pericardium. To prevent transmission of diseases, it is cleaned from material other than the collagenous matrix and sterilized, including using low-dose gamma irradiation [1], [2].
