Zusammenfassung
Unter der Annahme, dass bei der Verreibung einer Substanz zur Herstellung eines homöopathischen
Mittels Symptome auftreten, die mit Symptomen korrespondieren, für die das Mittel
– gemäß dem Simile-Prinzip – eingesetzt wird, müsste es möglich sein, unter Blindbedingungen
eine verriebene Substanz von verriebenem Placebo zu unterscheiden. Während einer „Verreibungsstudie“
wurden von 11 Teilnehmern, die mit der Probe Natrium sulfuricum („Verum“) und von
13 Teilnehmern, die im gleichen Raum mit der Probe Saccharum lactis („Placebo“) beschäftigt
waren, subjektiv auftretende Symptome beobachtet und protokolliert. Im quantitativen
Vergleich fiel auf, dass die Verumgruppe mit 55 Symptomen weniger Items anführte (5,0 / TN)
als die Placebogruppe mit 114 Symptomen (8,7 / TN). Das Verum Natrium sulfuricum konnte
nicht identifiziert werden. Die deutlich größere Anzahl von Symptomen der Placebogruppe
gegenüber der Verumgruppe, wie die Frage nach möglichen Kontextfaktoren könnten in
weiteren Untersuchungen betrachtet werden.
Summary
Under the assumption that the trituration of a substance to produce a homeopathic
remedy will show symptoms
that correspond to the symptoms for which the remedy is used – according to the similia
principle – should it be possible under blind conditions to identify a special remedy.
During a „trituration trial“, subjectively occurring symptoms were observed and recorded
by 11 participants who worked with natrum sulphuricum („Verum“) and by 13 participants
who were in the same room working with saccharum lactis („placebo“). In a quantitative
comparison, it was found that the verum group with 55 symptoms listed fewer symptoms
(5.0 / participant) than the placebo group with 114 symptoms (8.7 / participants).
In our study, the verum substance natrum sulphuricum could not be identified. The
significantly higher number of symptoms of the placebo group compared to the verum
group and the question of possible context factors could be taken into further studies.
