Psychische Erkrankungen in der Peripartalzeit

Nicht für jede schwangere Frau ist die Peripartalphase mit besonderer Freude und Glück verbunden. Viele Frauen leiden in dieser Zeit an psychischen Erkrankungen wie Depression, Angststörung, Zwangsstörung oder Essstörung. Da dies in der Gesellschaft häufig nicht thematisiert wird, entstehen im weiteren Verlauf und post partum erhebliche emotionale Beeinträchtigungen, die Einfluss auf die fetale und kindliche Entwicklung haben können.
