Pelvines venöses Kongestionssyndrom: MR-Diagnostik und interventionelle Behandlungsmöglichkeiten
Das pelvine venöse Kongestionssyndrom ist eine wenig bekannte, aber letztlich häufige Ursache für Unterleibsschmerzen [1] [2] [3]. Da chronische Unterleibsschmerzen unterdiagnostiziert werden, sind die Angaben zur Prävalenz mit ca. 2,1–24% der Frauen recht schwankend [2]. In 10–30% kann dabei als Ursache ein pelvines venöses Kongestionssyndrom in Betracht kommen, wobei besonders prämenopausale Frauen und Multipara betroffen sind [2]. Das Syndrom soll im Folgenden genauer beleuchtet werden.
