Die Komplexität des Schluckvorgangs muss berücksichtigt werden. Nur so kann es gelingen, Pathomechanismen zu identifizieren und eine effiziente Therapie anzubieten. Unter Berücksichtigung der spezifischen Merkmale des Systems Schlucken werden evidenzbasierte Therapieverfahren etabliert.
