ABSTRACT

Molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH) – also known as chalk teeth – is the second most common dental disease in children and adolescents today, after caries. The aim of the present paper is to summarize the current state of knowledge on the frequency and aetiology of this dental developmental disorder on the one hand and to describe the spectrum of treatment-related options on the other hand.
