Es gibt unterschiedliche Varianten und Protokolle für verschiedene Störungsbilder. In diesem Beitrag wird die Durchführung nach dem Protokoll von Arntz und Weertmann [1] am Beispiel der posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung vorgestellt und anhand eines Fallbeispiels demonstriert. Außerdem wird ein Überblick zur aktuellen Datenlage gegeben und mögliche Wirkmechanismen werden diskutiert.
