Ellenbogenfrakturen – operative vs. konservative Therapie und Nachbehandlung

Das Ellenbogengelenk reagiert auf eine über 14 Tage hinausgehende Ruhigstellung sehr sensibel und neigt zur Einsteifung. Als zusammengesetztes Gelenk mit einer schlaffen Kapsel und stabilisierenden Bändern verdienen die Knochen-Band-Verbindungen besonderes Augenmerk. Wegen der engen funktionellen Beziehungen ist die Beurteilung der Unterarm- und Handfunktion unabdingbar. Konservative und postoperative Behandlungen sind von hoher Schmerzempfindlichkeit und reflektorischer Muskelspannung geprägt.
