Körper ein. Mit der Produktion von wichtigen Verdauungsenzymen und der Regulation
des Blutglukosespiegels ist das Pankreas weit mehr als nur eine Darmanhangsdrüse.
Durch die enge Nachbarschaft zu Duodenum und Leber erscheint eine osteopathische Behandlung
interessant. Neben anatomischen Grundlagen werden osteopathische Beziehungen zu Strukturen
und Organen, mögliche Dysfunktionen und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten
zusammenfassend dargestellt.

The pancreas
occupies a central position in the body in terms of its role in digestion and metabolism
as well as its anatomical location. With the production of important digestive enzymes
and the regulation of the blood glucose level, the pancreas is far more than just an
intestinal appendage gland. Due to its close proximity to the duodenum and liver, an
osteopathic treatment appears to be of interest. In addition to anatomical basics,
osteopathic relationships to structures and organs, possible dysfunctions and treatment
options are summarised.
