Die Behandlung fokussiert sich darauf, den Progress der Erkrankung und damit die Entwicklung einer Arthrose zu vermeiden, wobei spontane und postarthroskopische Osteonekrosen initial konservativ und sekundäre Osteonekrosen am besten chirurgisch behandelt werden.
