Zum 1. Januar 2022 hat die WHO den Beginn des weltweiten Umstiegs von ICD-10 auf ICD-11 für die Berichterstattung zur Todesursachenstatistik anhand der neuen Mortality and Morbidity Statistics (MMS) festgesetzt und flexibel auf zunächst 5 Jahre terminiert.
