Abklärung chronischer oder akuter Bauchschmerzen dar. Der Beitrag fasst einen aktuellen Überblick zum Stellenwert dieses Diagnostikums bei verschiedenen gastrointestinalen Fragestellungen
zusammen.
Abstract
The clarification of diffuse acute and chronic gastrointestinal complaints is a considerable differential diagnostic challenge both in general and specialist practice as well as in
inpatient care. Due to the continuous development of modern ultrasound equipment, in particular ultrasound probes, the sonographic imaging of intestinal structures is very good today. In
addition to anamnesis, laboratory diagnostics and endoscopy intestinal the sonographic assessment of the intestinal wall structures is one of the most important diagnostic procedures in the
diagnosis of chronic or acute abdominal pain. This article summarizes a current overview of the significance of this diagnostic tool for various gastrointestinal problems.
