Risikofaktoren für die Entstehung der primären Schultersteife: ein aktueller Überblick

Eine schmerzhafte Reduktion der Beweglichkeit der Schulter, die als „Schultersteife“ bekannt ist, kann sowohl primär idiopathisch auftreten als auch sekundär, bspw. als Folge chirurgischer Eingriffe. Es existieren verschiedene Faktoren, die zur Entstehung der primären Schultersteife beitragen können. Daher fasst diese Übersichtsarbeit pathophysiologische Mechanismen, genetische Einflüsse, endokrinologische Störungen, metabolische Krankheitsbilder sowie andere Erkrankungen und medizinisch-therapeutische Ansätze zusammen, die möglicherweise einen Einfluss auf die Entwicklung der primären Schultersteife haben könnten.
