Reaktanz: Missing Link der Bewegungsförderung?
Reactance: The Missing Link in Promoting Physical Activity?
Summary
There is a large discrepancy between the knowledge of the health benefits of physical activity and the actual implementation in the population. This is particularly evident in the case of the employees we studied in inpatient care for the elderly. The socio-psychological approach of reactance and the associated theory helps us to better understand this phenomenon. This article briefly explains this concept and the significance for the promotion of physical activity against the background of our experiences in the POLKA project.
