Kommentar zu: Radikale Zystektomie: Weniger Hernien durch Netz beim Ileum-Conduit?

Die parastomale Hernie als eine Form der Narbenhernie stellt mit bis zu einem Drittel betroffener Patienten nach Zystektomie mit Anlage eines Ileum-Conduits eine sehr häufige Komplikation dar [1]. Sie kann bei entsprechender Ausprägung neben kosmetischen und Versorgungseinschränkungen (Urinleckage, Hautirritationen) auch zu funktionellen Beeinträchtigungen, wie Harntransportstörungen oder Ileus, und zu einer relevanten Reduktion der Lebensqualität führen.
