Erwachsenenbehandlung einer Klasse-II-Malokklusion mit skelettal offenem Biss und seitlichem Kreuzbiss

Der vorliegende Fallbericht beschreibt die Therapie und das Behandlungsergebnis eines erwachsenen Patienten mit einer Angle-Klasse-II-Malokklusion, einem skelettal offenen Biss und einem seitlichen Kreuzbiss, welcher durch eine vollständig individualisierte Lingualapparatur (WIN, DW Lingualsystems, Bad Essen, Germany) in Verbindung mit einer chirurgisch unterstützten Gaumennahterweiterung (GNE) behandelt wurde. Eine bilaterale Neutralokklusion mit physiologischem Overjet und Overbite konnte ohne die primär geplante Dysgnathie-Operation erfolgreich eingestellt werden.
