Zusammenfassung
Ethik als ein Teilbereich der praktischen Philosophie beschäftigt sich mit der Bewertung menschlichen Handelns. In der Gesundheitsversorgung werden besonders hohe moralische Ansprüche an die Handelnden, die Behandler, gestellt. Das Recht versucht überwiegend, diese Ansprüche bei Ärzten und Psychotherapeuten durch viele Pflichten und das Gebot der Beachtung von Patientenrechten durchzusetzen. Ökonomische Zwänge führen demgegenüber dazu, dass innerhalb des Gesundheitssystems zum Teil abweichende Maßstäbe angesetzt werden. Dies führt zu Spannungen.
Abstract
Ethics as a branch of practical philosophy deals with the evaluation of human actions. In healthcare, particularly high moral demands are placed on the practitioners. The law predominantly attempts to enforce these demands on doctors and psychotherapists by imposing many duties and the requirement to respect patients’ rights. Economic constraints, on the other hand, mean that different standards are sometimes applied within the healthcare system. This leads to tensions.
