Abstract
An efficient and versatile one-step method for the synthesis of heterocyclic analogues of neoflavonoids, such as pyrazolyl-, isoxazolyl-, pyrimidinyl-substituted 4-phenyl-2H-chromen-2-ones and fused 4-phenyl-2H,6H-pyrano[3,2-g]chromene-2,6-diones and 4-phenyl-2H,10H-pyrano[2,3-f]chromene-2,10-diones, using the corresponding enamino ketones is described.
