Zusammenfassung

Einer ERCP als invasives Untersuchungsverfahren sollte eine MRCP vorausgehen. Die Indikation zur ERCP muss streng gestellt werden und bedarf wegen möglicher Komplikationen einer klaren Indikationsstellung. Beim Einsatz von Propofol zur ­Sedierung müssen die S 3-Leitlinien der DGVS ­Beachtung finden.

Abstract

Before ERCP as an invasive procedure is per­formed MRCP should be initiated. Indication for ERCP should rely on a preceding MRCP because of a substantial rate of complications. When Propofol is applied for sedation the S 3-guidelines of the German Society of Gastroenterology (DGVS) should be observed.
