Aktuelle Fragen und Antworten zur Sedierung in der Endoskopie

Zusammenfassung

Dieser Artikel beleuchtet aktuelle Fragen, welche nach Publikation der S3-Leitlinie zur Sedierung in der gastrointestinalen Endoskopie im Jahr 2008 an die Autoren gerichtet wurden. Es handelt sich um Fragen zur Leitlinien-Methodik, der Delegation ärztlicher Leistungen an das Assistenz-Personal, der Vergütung von Sedierungsleistungen, der erforderlichen Qualifikation des beteiligten Personals und der Art und des Umfangs der erforderlichen Überwachung der Patienten. Die Antworten stellen eine persönliche Meinungsäußerung der Autoren dar, die nicht von einer Fachgesellschaft autorisiert wurden.

Abstract

The present manuscript discussed current questions which had been submitted to the authors after establishment of the S3-guideline for sedation in gastrointestinal endoscopy in 2008. The topics discussed are methodological aspects of guideline preparation, the delegation of endoscopic sedation to non-physicians, the re-imbursement of endoscopic sedation, the qualification of the medical staff and the required monitoring of the patient, respectively. The answers given represent the private opinion of the authors and are not authorized by any scientific societies.
