Zusammenfassung
Phytoöstrogene haben möglicherweise eine Bedeutung in der Prävention von Tumorerkrankungen. Wichtige Phytoöstrogenquellen sind Soja und Lein. Es gibt Hinweise, dass eine lebenslange östrogenreiche Ernährung im Hinblick auf das Mammakarzinom sinnvoll sein kann. Die Wirkmechanismen sind noch nicht endgültig geklärt.
