Abstract
The radial forearm flap is the most common free transplant in reconstructive head and neck surgery. By dissecting the flap pedicle with its venae comitantes and the cephalic vein up to the cubital fossa, we manage to expose a cubital collector vein in most cases. This cubital vein serves as a reliable vessel for venous anastomosis. In order to proof adequateness of the arterial and venous anastomosis we used indocyaningreen-videoangiography, which is also useful for intraoperative monitoring of flap perfusion.
