European Pediatric Surgical Association (EUPSA)

The members of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery are pleased to release another issue of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery containing papers presented at the 12th European Congress of Pediatric Surgery, which took place in Barcelona, June 16–18, 2011.

All submitted manuscripts were reviewed by the EUPSA Publication Committee consisting of Professor Whit Holcomb from Kansas City, Professor Agostino Pierro from London, Professor Holger Till from Leipzig, Professor Juan Tovar from Madrid, Professor Benno Ure from Hannover, and Professor Tomas Wester from Stockholm. Thirty-three manuscripts were submitted and 19 were finally accepted for publication after extensive discussion. They appear in this issue. The papers represent the high-quality of scientific work being done by pediatric surgeons and we appreciate their publication in the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery.
