  • Atemnot ist bei Kindern fast immer obstruktiv bedingt.

  • Die Kenntnis der wenigen differenzialdiagnostisch relevanten Diagnosen ermöglicht eine rasche Einschätzung und konsequente Therapie.

  • Invasive Maßnahmen sind meist nicht sinnvoll oder erforderlich.

  • Eine rasche und konsequente Therapieeinleitung erlaubt die Beherrschung fast aller derartiger Notfälle.
