Obwohl die Zahnextraktion beim Hund zu den Routineeingriffen in der Praxis zählt, kann es immer wieder zu unvorhergesehenen Komplikationen kommen. Im Folgenden werden die häufigsten intra- und postoperativen Komplikationen sowie deren therapeutische Lösungsansätze beschrieben.
