Anhand einer ausführlichen Dokumentation des Heilungsverlaufes nach einer
Fesselbeinfraktur mit anschließender MRSA-Infektion im Bereich einer
Verbands-Drucknekrose bei einem Sportpferd werden die Einsatzmöglichkeit
verschiedener komplementärmedizinischer Therapiemethoden aufgezeigt und
deren routinemäßige Anwendung in der Rehabilitation zur Diskussion
gestellt.
This article offers a detailed documentation of the healing process of a
sports horse following a phalanx fracture with subsequent MRSA infection
within the dressing-pressure necrosis. The author highlights the possibility
of using various complementary medical therapies and discusses their routine
use during rehabilitation.
