Mit transbronchialen Biopsien können im CT entdeckte periphere Lungenrundherde analysiert werden. Mithilfe der Bronchoskopie wird das Probenmaterial entnommen. Die elektromagnetische Navigation (ENB) ermöglicht die Steuerung durch den sich verästelnden Bronchialbaum.
