Zusammenfassung

Toshikatsu Yamamoto entwickelte die Yamamoto Neue Schädelakupunktur (YNSA) in den 1970er-Jahren. YNSA arbeitet mit Somatotopen. Diese befinden sich im Wesentlichen an der Stirn, an der Schläfe und am Hinterkopf. YNSA wird i. d. R. als ergänzende Therapiemethode zur Körperakupunktur erlernt und häufig in Kombination mit anderen Verfahren angewendet. Ein Therapieschwerpunkt liegt auf der Behandlung neurologischer Erkrankungen und in der Rehabilitation − hier gezeigt an 3 Patientenbeispielen.

Abstract

Toshikatsu Yamamoto developed the Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) in the 1970s. YNSA works with somatotopes. These are mainly situated at the forehead, the temple, and the back of the head. Normally, YNSA is learned as a complementary therapeutic method for body acupuncture, and is often used in combination with other procedures. A therapeutic focus is on the treatment of neurological diseases and on rehabilitation - shown with the help of three patient examples.
