Die Transplantation haploidentischer Stammzellen stellt eine Therapieoption für Patienten mit Leukämie dar, wenn kein HLA (human leucocyte antigen)-identischer Spender verfügbar ist. Das hierbei erhöhte Risiko für eine Graft-versus-Host-Erkrankung (GvHD) kann durch Reduktion der Lymphozytenzahl im Transplantat minimiert werden.
