Die Streptokokken-Angina (GAS-Tonsillopharyngitis) stellt ein häufiges Krankheitsbild nicht nur in der pädiatrischen, sondern auch in der allgemeinmedizinischen und HNO-ärztlichen Praxis dar. Die konventionellen Therapieempfehlungen haben in den letzten Jahren eine Wandlung erfahren: Mittlerweile wird vom breiten Einsatz von Antibiotika abgeraten und eine differenzierte Therapie empfohlen. Der aktuell empfohlene Standard wird vor dem Hintergrund der Studienlage diskutiert.
Die Therapiemöglichkeiten mit homöopathischen Arzneien werden mit einem Blick in die homöopathische Literatur und anhand von eigenen Kasuistiken akuter und chronisch-rezidivierender Verläufe dargestellt.
Summary
Group A streptococcal tonsillopharyngitis is a common disease in pediatrics, but also in the general practice and ENT. The guidelines for therapy have changed during the last years: In the meantime the general prescription of antibiotics is not encouraged any more and more sophisticated therapy regimes should be applied. The current therapy guidelines are discussed in relation to the scientific literature.
Therapeutic options with homeopathic remedies are discussed with acute and chronic case reports taking into account the relevant homeopathic literature.
