Zusammenfassung
Bei einer 87-jährigen Patientin mit einer Cholangitis auf dem Boden einer Rezidiv-Choledocholithiais kam es im Anschluss an eine erfolgreiche ERCP unter 2,5 mg Midazolam und 175 mg Propofol zu einem Blutdruckabfall und einem Atemstillstand auf Station, an deren Folgen die Patientin verstarb. Auf die Problematik dieser Kombination bei sehr alten Patienten wird hingewiesen. Ein Aufwachraum stand nicht zur Verfügung.
Abstract
In a 87-years-old patient with cholangitis due to recurrent choledocholithiasis ERCP was successful when 2.5 mg midazolam and 175 mg Propofol were used. However, hypotension and respiratory depression were responsible when the patient was found dead 20 minutes after the procedure. There was no room for postoperative monitoring available.
