Abstract

A palladium-catalyzed three-component synthesis of arylmethylsulfonamide derivatives from sulfonamides, paraformaldehyde, and arylboronic acids has been developed. The method is operationally simple and provides rapid access to a broad range of structurally interesting sulfonamidomethyl compounds.
