A Warm Welcome

I am both honored and delighted to be writing to you as the new Editor-in-Chief.

Please allow me first to thank my predecessor, Professor Luc Pieters, and the former Planta Medica Editorial Board for their dedication and efforts to make this journal a success. Professor Pieters and the team of Editors and Editorial Assistant successfully managed the journal between 2007 and 2015. Planta Medica is also deeply indebted to all of its authors, reviewers, and readers for their enthusiastic support.
