Reviewers for The Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon

We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to the 207 individuals listed below. All of them have voluntarily contributed to the quality of this journal by performing reviews upon invitation in the year 2015, both for ThCVS and ThCVS Reports. Their dedication is essential for keeping the high standards of our bilaterally blinded peer review process.

The workload ranged from one to 21 manuscripts including the revised versions, with 11 reviewers performing ten or more reviews (marked in bold). Of all the reviewers, 171 reviewed for the main journal only, 17 for the Reports only, 19 for both. To relieve the individual burden, more than 30 people were invited as newcomers and accepted to collaborate. We welcome them aboard.

Our reviewers share most of the burdens but only few of the pleasures which editing a scientific journal implies. This modest “thank you” from the editorial staff and the publisher is meant to serve as an acknowledgement of your services. We hope you will continue to assist us in 2016.
