Motorische Fähigkeiten sind der Schlüssel zu alltäglichen Aktivitäten bzw. Interaktionen. K. Libertus und D.A. Violi aus Pittsburgh/USA haben die Assoziationen zwischen früh auftretenden motorischen Fähigkeiten und der späteren Sprachentwicklung bei normal entwickelten Kindern untersucht. Ihre Hypothese: Die Entwicklung von Sitzen und Greifen sagt das rezeptive Vokabular im Alter von 10 und 14 Monaten voraus.
