Zusammenfassung
Es wird eine Literaturübersicht über Ätiologie, klinische Symptome und Therapie der Perianalfisteln beim Hund gegeben. Die Erkrankung betrifft überwiegend Deutsche Schäferhunde mittleren Alters und ist durch einzelne oder multiple, ulzerierte perianale Hautläsionen und Fissuren gekennzeichnet. Zu den häufigsten klinischen Symptomen zählen Tenesmus, Dyschezie und gehäuftes Belecken der Perianalregion. Therapeutisch kommen chirurgische Verfahren und der Einsatz verschiedener Medikamente in Betracht. Letztere konzentrieren sich auf immunmodulierende Wirkstoffe.
Summary
This article reviews the literature regarding the aetiology, clinical signs and therapy of perianal fistulas in the dog. Middle aged German shepherd dogs are predisposed and show single or multiple perianal ulcers and fistulation. Clinical signs commonly observed comprise tenesmus, dyschezia und frequent licking of the perianal region. There are surgical and medical treatment options, the latter focusing on immunmodulation.
