Mit Lenalidomid (Revlimid®) wurden in den vergangenen Jahren wesentliche Fortschritte in der Therapie des Multiplen Myelom (MM) erreicht. Bisher ist es in der Zweitlinienbehandlung zugelassen. Eine auf dem ASH 2010 vorgestellte Studie weist darauf hin, dass auch ältere Patienten mit neu diagnostiziertem MM davon profitieren, die nicht für eine Transplantation infrage kommen.
