Introduction

Urrets-Zavalia syndrome is characterized by an irreversible mydriasis generally as a result of increased intraocular pressure (IOP) and ischemia of the iris [1]. It was described after penetrating keratoplasty for keratoconus [1] as well as other ophthalmological surgery, like trabeculectomy [2], argon laser peripheral iridoplasty [3], LASIK [4] as well as deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty [5].
