Zusammenfassung

Die funktionelle Dysphonie (FD) präsentiert sich klinisch mit ventralen Halsschmerzen, Heiserkeit und Stimmstörungen. Organisch liegt kein pathologischer Befund vor, aber möglicherweise spielen laryngeale Strukturen, die Muskulatur und neurale Ansteuerung eine ursächliche Rolle. Die FD wird zwar primär von Logopäden und Sprachtherapeuten behandelt, aber spezialisierte Manualtherapeuten können wesentlich dazu beitragen, dass die Therapie erfolgreich verläuft.
