ABSTRACT

The upward and posterior displacement of the sideburn and temporal sideburn after facial rejuvenating procedures results in a significant deformity. This can be successfully reconstructed by the exclusive use of micrografts (grafts with 1 to 2 hair follicular units) and minigrafts (grafts with 3 to 4 hair follicular units), which provide results that are truly natural and often achieved in a single session. The technique is discussed in detail. When doing facial rejuvenating procedures, we must prevent hair loss deformity. I prevent it simply by doing a pre-hairline incision; the technique is discussed in detail.
