Anorexia nervosa: Überblick und Fallbericht

Zusammenfassung

Betreffend der Epidemiologie und Ätiologie der Anorexia nervosa (AN) liegen gesicherte Befunde und Modellvorstellungen vor. Bei der Behandlung der AN kommt der Medikation mit Antidepressiva aufgrund aktueller Erkenntnisse eine untergeordnete Funktion zu. Die Validität von Studien zur Wirksamkeit psychotherapeutischer Behandlungsansätze wird durch verschiedene methodische Mängel eingeschränkt. Bis heute ergeben sich keine generalisierbaren Hinweise auf eine „Therapie der Wahl”. Insbesondere zu den Behandlungsmöglichkeiten so genannt chronifizierter Anorexien (ca. 25 % aller Patienten nach Behandlung) liegen keine kontrollierten Studien vor. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird nach einem Überblick über aktuelle Befunde zur AN anhand eines Fallbeispiels die individualisierte Behandlung einer Patientin mit chronifizierter AN beschrieben.

Abstract

There is a lot of research about the epidemiology and etiology of Anorexia nervosa (AN). Regarding to the treatment of AN, data is less clear. Psychopharmacological approaches do not play a major role in treatments of AN. Results about psychological treatments are limited by several methodological concerns. Until today, it remains unclear, which is generally the most effective treatment for AN, and there are no informations on the treatment possibilities for those 25 % patients, which remain chronically ill after treatment. The present paper presents an overview of the actual data about AN and shows an individualized treatment for a patient with chronic AN.
